
Don't you nauseate it when you have a pile of new voicemails and to get to the important single you have to first listen to then delete five from your mother and three from your annoying roommate? Well that may change real soon in the mobile technology world as Verizon Wireless has just introduced Visual Voice Mail, an application that manages voice mail on phones. Available initially on their Voyager model (shown), users will be able to blot out, reply and forward voice mail messages without having to listen to prior messages (or annoying noise instructions) making it a more effective way to manage and accord to messages.
Visual Voice Mail lists voice mail messages with be dated and time of receipt and message duration- more like the traditive email retrieval structure than voicemail. From the display, customers be able to invite hinder part, reply, forward, add to contacts, and archive message (to internal or external memory).
Users will have existence able to store 40 messages for 40 days (double the storage and retention time of Basic Voice Mail). In addition, they can create up to 10 greetings, 20 distribution race-course and 50 distribution members to receive messages.
